Here at Rebel Time Records we’re double-plus happy to announce an upcoming release that is, for us, a first in a few ways. It’s a split 10″ vinyl release. Two bands, two labels. It’s us and Harvest King Records (out of Regina, Saskatchewan). On the Harvest King Records side you get the amazing Kleins96 and on the Rebel Time side you get Born Wrong. The record will be available in June and July/August will see Born Wrong touring parts of Canada and the US of A. Stay tuned for more details… Born Wrong is the first Hamilton band we are working with, and we are stoked. The band deals in hot-under-the-collar hardcore that is both compelling and combative. You know these cats are seriously pissed off. Live, they are raging and they are relentless – a no-holds-barred mix of menace and melody. Important to us, Born Wrong has something to say. As they put it: ”Most, if not all the lyrics are political. Not everyone in the band is overtly active but some of the members are involved with political organizations. We really just like to play aggressive music. Our lyrics stem from politics simply because it can be so frustrating, and a lot of political issues infuriate us.”
